Wednesday, May 28, 6:30 p.m. In honor of World Bee Day, we welcome Madison beekeeper and Backyard Beekeepers Association board member Tammi Worsham. Learn about the importance of bees in our agricultural system and taste a sampling of honeys from various seasons and areas.

America’s Cassandra: Connie Converse at 100
Wednesday, May 14, 6:30 p.m. Join us for a talk with author Howard Fishman as we learn about the life, music, and mystery of Connie Converse. A singer/songwriter whose talent has been compared to Bob Dylan’s, Converse disappeared from the New York music scene in the early 1960s and from the planet over fifty years ago. A little too ahead of her time, Converse’s music is enjoying a contemporary resurgence.
