The Children’s Department serves Madison’s children from birth through grade six, along with their parents, teachers, and caregivers. Our resources and programming aim to encourage literacy, creativity, and critical thinking skills.

We offer weekly story times for babies, toddlers, and preschoolers, as well as weekly art and STEM programs for grade schoolers. We also host a variety of fun one-time events, including music programs, crafts, outdoor activities, and more! Register here for upcoming events.

We love our Madison schools and preschools and offer curriculum support and visits when possible.
