Facility Attendant (part-time)
Are you a hard worker looking to join a team that helps the whole community? The E. C. Scranton Memorial Library is looking for you. We seek an experienced facility attendant to help with daily maintenance and long-term stewardship of the Library’s renovated and expanded campus. Come join our team and help make the Library a welcoming environment. The successful candidate for this position will have good oral and written communication skills, great interpersonal skills, and a strong work ethic. Flexibility, visibility, accessibility, and the ability to thrive in a constantly evolving work environment are also essential. Evenings and rotating Saturday hours required. Adult Volunteering:

Thank you for thinking of E.C. Scranton Memorial Library! Volunteers are a great support to our library staff and also to our community. 

We welcome volunteers to help us:

  • Shelve materials (fiction, non-fiction, media)
  • Shelf read (making sure materials are in their proper places)
  • Make home deliveries (deliver library materials to Madison residents who cannot come to the library).

Friends of the Library:

Friends of the Library volunteers do various tasks for the Library, including assisting with events, planning programs, organizing fundraisers, and assisting with the Book Sale. If you would like to help out, please contact the Friends of the Library
