The Teen Advisory Group (TAG) is a group of students in grades 6-12 who meet regularly with the Teen Services Librarian to help plan library programs for teenagers, to give input on library issues related to teens and to assist in selecting books and media for the library’s Teen Area.
Characteristics of members include:
- a desire to promote reading and library service
- the ability to work cooperatively with people of various ages and backgrounds
- a commitment to attend, actively participate in, meetings on a regular basis
TAG meets monthly during the school year on the 4th Tuesday of the month at 7:00 p.m. TAG is a fantastic way to get to know other students with similar interests while providing a great service to the library.
