SetTheRulesCT is designed to provide parents and adults with information and resources to help parents keep Connecticut's youth from drinking alcohol.    

Parent Information

The Selectmen’s Council on Youth Substance Abuse (SCYSA) is tasked with educating all community members on the issues of under-age substance abuse and how we, as a community, can encourage youth to reduce their risk of and/or use or substances.  For more information contact Laurie Ruderfer, Council Coordinator: 245-5694.

GetNetWise A public service sponsored by Internet industry corporations to help ensure that Internet users have safe, constructive, educational, or entertaining online experiences.
Internet Keep Safe Coalition A coalition of state governors, law enforcement, the AMA and others dedicated to providing safe internet technology use among children.
Netsmartz.org  Teens share their own “Real-Life Stories” about issues affecting them on the Internet such as cyberbullying, online enticement, and giving out too much personal information.
Staysafe An educatoinal site intended to help consumers understand the positive aspects of internet use, in addition to safety and security issues.
TeenAngels A division of WiredSafty.org, Teen Angels is a group of 13-18 year-old volunteers that have been specially trained by the local law enforcement, and many other leading safety experts in all aspects of online safety, privacy, and security.
